Dr. ZIBA HABIBI LASHKARI is an Associate Professor in Finance in the Department of Organization Engineering, Business Administration, and Statistics at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Master of FinTech program in EIT Digital and is also the Coordinator of the EIT Digital Summer School. Her academic journey is marked by a Ph.D. in Economics from Spain, where she was honored for having the best doctoral dissertation and received the Ph.D. Extraordinary Award in 2019. A committed educator, she organizes the "FinTech" summer school in Madrid and has been recognized for her innovative ideas in cybersecurity for fintech, earning a diploma for best startup ideas at the 18th ActúaUPM. A member of the "Decision Analysis and Statistics Group (DASG)" at her university, her research areas include Asset Pricing, FinTech and DeFi.
